Of Wolf and Man

Done using sharpies for the wolf and cliff silhouette, and oil pastels for the colorful rings.

I'm not very good with the anatomy of animals I'm not familiar with, so this piece did take a little bit of reference to see how a wolf should be drawn.

I wanted to experiment with oil pastels somehow for my portfolio, but as I'm not competent with that medium, I wanted to use them in a very simple way. I was fascinated with all the colors of the set, so I decided to make a rainbow of sorts with them, and this idea was thus born.

It's nothing spectacular, but it was a fun challenge to use a medium I had only joked around with in the past. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with the results!
