"Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost"
Done using colored pencils, with some chalk pastels for the background.
Teal has long been my favorite color, so when I found a pair of converse a while ago in that color, it was too perfect.
A couple of years ago I wanted to draw something on them, and settled on writing "Carpe Diem" across the front. Even using a traced alphabet, it took a while and wasn't a lot of fun to do, but I really liked how it looked.
Needing something to draw from observation for my portfolio, I decided to draw these sneakers, and honestly the lettering wasn't any more fun the second time around
But I definitely like this one. It's one of the more vibrant pieces in my portfolio, and I obviously like the color of the shoes
